One of the projects I'm involved in is something called LiveLAMP. LAMP, for those who don't know, is an acronym for the combination of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP - the dynamic quatro application server bundle of the Internet.
Live is in reference to the Live Linux CDs - the ones that run off a CD.
Anyway, LiveLAMP was conceived as a way for school teachers to install a new LAMP server in minutes.
This project is now ready for alpha testing. If you want to trial it, download it from one of the mirrors found on the site. Let me know what you think.

I was looking for something like this to use in demonstrations of lamp.
I had cobbled together a morphix cd with a copy of xampp in the /opt
directory, but live lamp looks more polished.
Thank you.
